Made for hobbyists, beginners, and commercial users, the MakerMade Millie 3018 Small CNC machine is a complete machine with true three-axis control on a compact chassis. This is the affordable 3-axis CNC machine for small- to medium-sized projects. The Millie 3018 CNC performs engraving, carving, drilling, and light milling of wood, plastics, acrylic, PCB materials, and other similar materials.

What can it do?

The MakerMade Millie 3018 is a desktop CNC machine for carving, milling, engraving, and shaping CNC jobs. It fits on top of a table and can do CNC jobs, so you can bring it anywhere and has plenty of applications. 

The Millie 3018 CNC comes with a 150 watt spindle with three speed adjustments. The work area measures 300 x 180 mm and the z-axis with spindle can move up to two inches, so it is ideal for smaller-sized, light-duty CNC jobs. 

You can use the Millie 3018 compact CNC machine on the following materials:

  • Wood
  • MDF
  • Laminates
  • Polycarbonate, polyethylene, and soft PVC

The machine is not suitable to cut stone, very hard plastics like nylon and PVC, and metal. 

Made for durability

The Millie 3018 is built durable enough for CNC tasks. The entire chassis is constructed of solid aluminum with anodized finish, plus solid metal guide rails and metal axis motors, so expect it to be reliable for CNC work. Comes with metal lead screw drives that ensure accurate movement of the spindle.
