The Makermade CNC500 is a desktop, small CNC machine, and this model includes the MakerMade CNC Router so you can use it right away after assembly. It is a compact CNC mill with 500 mm of working space, and made to fit on top of desks to accomplish small and medium-sized CNC projects.

MakerMade CNC500 — Compact Desktop CNC Machine

The MakerMade CNC500 is a compact desktop CNC machine designed to bring CNC milling, carving, engraving, and cutting capabilities to your workspace. With a 500 × 480 mm (19.7 × 18.9 in) cutting area, it gives you plenty of room for small to medium-sized CNC projects while maintaining a space-saving desktop footprint. You can shape any workpiece that fits in there.

Depending on the spindle and bit attached, the Makermade CNC500 hobby CNC machine can do carving, drilling, engraving, milling, and cutting tasks with precision.

It can work on the following materials:

  • Hard plastics including acrylic, nylon, uPVC, and PVC
  • Soft plastics including polycarbonate, polyethylene, and soft PVC
  • Thin aluminum

When properly set up and calibrated, and when used with appropriate spindle bits, the MakerMade CNC500 is precise enough for small projects or to create intricate, complex shapes. 

Durable Design

The MakerMade CNC500 frame and tracks are constructed of durable aluminum, so it is lightweight and does not rust. It is equipped with circuit-board controlled stepper motors that move the x, y, and z axis, and it is powerful enough to perform high-speed cuts with precision. 

The entire desktop cnc router machine does need assembly out of the box. You can contact our customer service for help in assembly and operating the MakerMade CNC500 out of the box.

  • The CNC500 functions best with the Makermade Millie 775 Motor , other 775 motors or spindles do not have a Soft Start feature and may require a separate power output to function properly.
  • The CNC500 has built-in controller software for running G-Code files.
